To open a branch in Bulgaria, please submit the following documents for registration:

  • A copy of the Certificate of Incorporation of the parent company
  • A copy of the Memorandum and Articles of Association of the parent company
  • A copy of the parent company’s Certificate of Good Standing
  • A registered office address in Bulgaria
  • A representative for the Bulgarian branch

Documents must be apostilled in the origin country and legalized in Bulgaria. The branch must fulfil accounting requirements:

  • Register for VAT with the Bulgarian Agency to get a VAT number.
  • Submit monthly VAT returns and annual tax returns
  • Maintain its financial accounts independently
  • Prepare and file an annual balance sheet and tax return
